We have been Country Western Dancers for more than 25 years now. Our first trip to a local country dance club has totally changed our lives. Almost imediately we were drawn to the floor song after song. This led to a desire to improve (keep up) and learn more. The first thing we did was join a Progressive Beginners Two Step Session! Here's where we learned the basics of Country Two Step. This was still not enough for us. Then came West Coast Swing and East Coast Swing ,Waltz,Polka,Cha Cha and Couples Dances! The next step for us was private dance lessons. We have taken hours and hours of private lessons from local competitive instructors to world class professionals like Mike Wagner and Paula Atherton and Brandy Tobias.

Still hungry for the dance floor,we turned to competitive dancing. We competed on several levels but decided the travel did not fit well with family life, with three children at home. So we decided that social dancing was more our cup of tea! We started Instructing and found a new thrill in the dance world! Teaching became an obsession with us. Our goal was to create the same smile on each and every students face, that we had on our faces as we twirled around the dance floor. With the new Line Dance craze pulling many dancers in that direction, Phyllis started to study line dancing. After several years of dancing and teaching line dances, Phyllis began to choreograph her own line dances. She found she had a natural ability to hear a song and see a dance!.

Together we have spent multiple hours every day perfecting our skills. We are constantly studying and creating new moves in Line Dance and Two Step, constantly listening to new music and choreographing new line dances, and constantly spending hour after hour on the dance floor practing. And It Shows!!!!!
